Sometimes, the drinks just go down like water, and that can mean trouble. We’re good with a little trouble, though, so this drink is perfect for us. t’s also perfect for a shindig or a clam dig, so throw on your clam diggers and get ready to rock. The shandy, which is traditionally a lighter beer and lemonade, is the perfect summer drink to carry you through a classic New England clambake (which is where many claim the shandy was invented). Our favorite type also utilizes the mighty watermelon, grown locally and sustainably, of course. The combo of watermelon, lemonade, beer and ice makes for a refreshing drink, and was also first poured in Rhode Island, from what we heard, ya heard?

You know we love ‘sters, both oy and lob. We also love a great clam chowder at a ‘bake, and we usually make one of our hero’s versions, the great Anthony Bourdain. But we also love the entire New England seafood experience, the scrod, drawn butter, all them critters with or without shells. One of our favorites is the decadent of decadence - lobster bisque. When done right (using homemade stock, heavy cream, a lil’ sherry, and some tomato paste), you’ve got something that truly stands out. This dish is great for a fancy, high falutin’ dinner or a shindig in your backyard. We serve ‘em with some sourdough spears that work really well too. Pro tip? Add a splash of sherry vinegar at the very end to make them flavors pop.

Now, clams are one of our favorite things, and eatin’ ‘em raw is one of our favorite ways to get down, but most crowds prefer steamed. They love ‘em dipped in that drawn butter, and who are we to judge? That’s downright fantastic. We’re about pleasin’ the people, and this dish is for the people, y'all. We’re using little necks, but we also get down with mahoganies and love us some softs-hells too. We’re serving ‘em 2 different ways because we love tryin’ different positions, and you can see what works for your crowd and your equipment. Steamed up clams are perfect for creating some steamy conversations, and really bring people together, so we’re hoping you bring together the right people for your clambake. We use a steamer on one side, but we also like to do ‘em on a grill for ease-of-use and cleanup, just don’t grill ‘em on the grates, they’ll rust ya out. Saltwater, man. Home to tasty food, bad for metal.

We named this dish after the mighty Blue Angels, the elite high-flying daredevils from the U.S. Navy. Since this dish is served hot and is blue, and fighter pilots are pretty hot, the name just fits. Meanwhile, this is a nice, sweet touch that has wowed a lot of our party guests. Some folks like to round out a clambake with Strawberry shortcake, which we love, shorty. Don’t get us wrong. But we take some fresh blueberries, all sustainable and local, and pair it with some limoncello-based syrup, get it all mixed up and hot, and pair it with some grilled, homemade angel food cake, then drape over some brandy infused whipped cream to get you right in the feels. Get ready, because this dessert is going to take you for a ride, baby.
